01 这些叶
f. 32（旧编号9）是 Throckmorton 致伊丽莎白的亲笔信，有署名，16行密码，用的是他的第一套字母表。在署名下方和旁边，大约有12行细小的草体符号、一行日期，以及一个标有“*”的三行块，对应信中第13行的一个星号。f. 33（旧编号10）是 Throckmorton 致塞西尔，1559年8月8日（Tomokiyo 已解读，Cipher 3；Forbes p. 195）。页脚有一行，摘由为“Mr John Wod to Secretary Cecil, 6 Sept 1568”，带一个描摹的签名。
02 1559年7月10日的信
密钥：Tomokiyo 对 Cipher 1 的复原（DECODE R2988 附件），作以下修正：x 和 υ = i；y = f 或 h；z = m；ρ = d 或 t；∫t 和一个平顶的6 = w；带圈的 Q = be；ξ 和加点的 q = your Majesty；词中的双写符号和 ζ 是虚码。代码词放在方括号中；[..] 表示未解密的符号。
It may please [your Majesty] to be advertised that whereas I sent [letters] to the same by Maister Gray of the eight of [this] [month] [at] five of the clock [in] the afternoon, and [by] Carew [letters] of the same date written [at] midnight touching the [French King]’s state, I judge [your Majesty] will be desirous to be further enformed thereof. [..] convenient to put in to writing the whole discourse of [..] [which is known?] to [my] knowledge; of considering the present [..], [I judged it best?] to dispatch [this] gentleman, to whom [..] enforme the same [..] of the state [..] length, to whom it [may please your Majesty] to give credit. 等级（按 README 惯例）：第1–4行为 H；第5–15行中密钥给出字母处为 C，方括号中的猜测为 M。第5–15行约550个符号中，约470个解密可信。信中提到的8日的两份急件是 CSP Foreign 第I卷第947和950号；携信人的名字不在已解密的部分中。
03 f. 32 的页边文字
逐个符号转录（margin_transcription.txt，初稿）：约405个符号，分成222个码组，约29种基本形状（22种常用），以及约80种形状加点的组合。码组平均1.9个符号；106个是单个符号。一个加框的码组出现四次，很可能是一个名字。从左向右书写，以“/”和“//”作分句记号；不是希伯来文，也不是镜像或倒置的拉丁字母。
一种词代码。把每个码组当作一个词：222个记号给出141种类型，113种只出现一次。对 Bain 档案汇编中222词长的片段做同样的测量，中位数是140和107（margin_stats.py）。逐字母的英语会给出平均约4.3个符号的码组，单个字母很少。这些符号的取值随点的位置而变，就像 Thomas Smith（1563）的加点字母词代码和 Cecil–Norris 表那样。51%的记号是只用过一次的符号，仅凭密文无法确定，所以任何唯密文方法都触及不到一半的文本。
它可能是什么。日期行读作“… 8 … 1559”，而信中说 Throckmorton 在8日写了两次信。页边文字很可能是他7月8日急件的副本（CSP Foreign 第I卷第947、950号：Grey 勋爵的赎金、法国国王的发烧、派往苏格兰的兵力、Ruy Gomez、在日内瓦的 Arran、Anne du Bourg）。档案汇编只给出摘要，而原件（SP 70/5）只在需订阅的 State Papers Online 中。
04 John Wood 致塞西尔，1568年9月6日（f. 33）
39个符号，16种不同的，属于1568年7月 Moray 致 Wood 的密码所用的符号家族（wood_line.txt）。Bain 的 CSP Scotland 第II卷第804号根据 Hatfield 原件刊印了这封信，并把一个短语标为密码：“and says he must neidis haif it be on meinis or uthir”。穷尽式比对（字母、虚码、音节符号、反向、所有子串）都失败了。HMC Salisbury 第I卷没有这封信的条目。
没有唯一解。一个求解器（模拟退火）从200个随机起点出发，以 Bain 档案汇编的四元组统计拟合一符号一字母的密钥；185次的结果高于39个字母真实文本的得分中位数，其中92个结果彼此之间超过三分之一的字母不同，全是乱码（nonunique.py）。这一行无法由它自身的文本确定；只有 Hatfield 的原件，连同它可能带有的解读，才能定案。
05 尚未解决的部分
- 7月10日的信：十二个代码符号（1k̲、ρ̲、g̲、δ̄、δ̲、ō、⊓̄、q̄、r̄、π̄、ƒ̇、ʋ̲）和标为 [..] 的片段；与第13行对应的带星号页边注。
- 页边文字：需要它的密钥，或者 SP 70/5 第947和950号的照片，以其中已解读的段落作为猜词。
- Wood 那一行：需要 Hatfield，Cecil Papers 第1卷。
