01 這些葉
f. 32（舊編號9）是 Throckmorton 致伊麗莎白的親筆信，有署名，16行密碼，用的是他的第一套字母表。在署名下方和旁邊，大約有12行細小的草體符號、一行日期，以及一個標有“*”的三行塊，對應信中第13行的一個星號。f. 33（舊編號10）是 Throckmorton 致塞西爾，1559年8月8日（Tomokiyo 已解讀，Cipher 3；Forbes p. 195）。頁尾有一行，摘由為“Mr John Wod to Secretary Cecil, 6 Sept 1568”，帶一個描摹的簽名。
02 1559年7月10日的信
金鑰：Tomokiyo 對 Cipher 1 的復原（DECODE R2988 附件），作以下修正：x 和 υ = i；y = f 或 h；z = m；ρ = d 或 t；∫t 和一個平頂的6 = w；帶圈的 Q = be；ξ 和加點的 q = your Majesty；詞中的雙寫符號和 ζ 是虛碼。程式碼詞放在方括號中；[..] 表示未解密的符號。
It may please [your Majesty] to be advertised that whereas I sent [letters] to the same by Maister Gray of the eight of [this] [month] [at] five of the clock [in] the afternoon, and [by] Carew [letters] of the same date written [at] midnight touching the [French King]’s state, I judge [your Majesty] will be desirous to be further enformed thereof. [..] convenient to put in to writing the whole discourse of [..] [which is known?] to [my] knowledge; of considering the present [..], [I judged it best?] to dispatch [this] gentleman, to whom [..] enforme the same [..] of the state [..] length, to whom it [may please your Majesty] to give credit. 等級（按 README 慣例）：第1–4行為 H；第5–15行中金鑰給出字母處為 C，方括號中的猜測為 M。第5–15行約550個符號中，約470個解密可信。信中提到的8日的兩份急件是 CSP Foreign 第I卷第947和950號；攜信人的名字不在已解密的部分中。
03 f. 32 的頁邊文字
逐個符號轉錄（margin_transcription.txt，初稿）：約405個符號，分成222個碼組，約29種基本形狀（22種常用），以及約80種形狀加點的組合。碼組平均1.9個符號；106個是單個符號。一個加框的碼組出現四次，很可能是一個名字。從左向右書寫，以“/”和“//”作分句記號；不是希伯來文，也不是映象或倒置的拉丁字母。
一種詞程式碼。把每個碼組當作一個詞：222個記號給出141種型別，113種只出現一次。對 Bain 檔案彙編中222詞長的片段做同樣的測量，中位數是140和107（margin_stats.py）。逐字母的英語會給出平均約4.3個符號的碼組，單個字母很少。這些符號的取值隨點的位置而變，就像 Thomas Smith（1563）的加點字母詞程式碼和 Cecil–Norris 表那樣。51%的記號是隻用過一次的符號，僅憑密文無法確定，所以任何唯密文方法都觸及不到一半的文字。
它可能是什麼。日期行讀作“… 8 … 1559”，而信中說 Throckmorton 在8日寫了兩次信。頁邊文字很可能是他7月8日急件的副本（CSP Foreign 第I卷第947、950號：Grey 勳爵的贖金、法國國王的發燒、派往蘇格蘭的兵力、Ruy Gomez、在日內瓦的 Arran、Anne du Bourg）。檔案彙編只給出摘要，而原件（SP 70/5）只在需訂閱的 State Papers Online 中。
04 John Wood 致塞西爾，1568年9月6日（f. 33）
39個符號，16種不同的，屬於1568年7月 Moray 致 Wood 的密碼所用的符號家族（wood_line.txt）。Bain 的 CSP Scotland 第II卷第804號根據 Hatfield 原件刊印了這封信，並把一個短語標為密碼：“and says he must neidis haif it be on meinis or uthir”。窮盡式比對（字母、虛碼、音節符號、反向、所有子串）都失敗了。HMC Salisbury 第I卷沒有這封信的條目。
沒有唯一解。一個求解器（模擬退火）從200個隨機起點出發，以 Bain 檔案彙編的四元組統計擬合一符號一字母的金鑰；185次的結果高於39個字母真實文字的得分中位數，其中92個結果彼此之間超過三分之一的字母不同，全是亂碼（nonunique.py）。這一行無法由它自身的文字確定；只有 Hatfield 的原件，連同它可能帶有的解讀，才能定案。
05 尚未解決的部分
- 7月10日的信：十二個程式碼符號（1k̲、ρ̲、g̲、δ̄、δ̲、ō、⊓̄、q̄、r̄、π̄、ƒ̇、ʋ̲）和標為 [..] 的片段；與第13行對應的帶星號頁邊注。
- 頁邊文字：需要它的金鑰，或者 SP 70/5 第947和950號的照片，以其中已解讀的段落作為猜詞。
- Wood 那一行：需要 Hatfield，Cecil Papers 第1卷。
